Hi! I’m Melina and I’m an artist born and raised in Germany. I live in Texas with my husband and 3 little kids and when I’m not busy chasing after them, enjoying family time, or working as a full-time graphic designer, you’ll often find me painting in a cozy corner of my home.

Growing up as the daughter of a graphic designer, my love for art and design started at a very young age. During high school, I painted mostly large abstract pieces on canvas - it was the creative outlet I needed during those years. Despite being inspired to follow a career in art, life took me another route and I chose business school over art school – a decision I am so thankful for as I would have otherwise never met my husband!

I left the paint brush behind, moved to another country, and started a family. A few twists and turns and 15 years later here I am painting again, following my passion. I now focus on abstract impressionist landscapes and bold abstract floral works.
